| Murray Hill & New Providence, New Jersey, U.S., June 15, 2010 – The National Hydrogen Association (NHA) has presented Linde North America with an award for demonstrating its commitment and loyalty to NHA since its inception in 1989.
Linde North America is a member of The Linde Group, a world-leading gases and engineering company and one of the world’s largest hydrogen producers. The NHA, the world’s largest hydrogen technology trade association, was established in 1989 to foster the development of hydrogen technologies and their use in industrial, commercial, and consumer applications and to promote the role of hydrogen in the energy field.
Markus Bachmeier, global head of hydrogen solutions for Linde, accepted the award presented by the NHA at its 21st annual conference, which was held at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California. Jeff Serfass, NHA president, thanked and congratulated Linde for being a founding member and for its contributions to the efforts of the NHA for over 20 years. “The advances we made as an organization could not have happened without the support of Linde,” Serfass said.
Bachmeier said, “As a leader in the hydrogen fueling market in North America, Linde has been very active in the Association, having had at least one representative on the board of directors since the very beginning. “I congratulate Linde North America for this achievement and thank the Linde employees who have contributed so much to the NHA over the past 20-plus years.”
